Jakarta investment realisation reaches Rp94 trillion in Q2 2026
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Jakarta recorded investment realisation of Rp94.9 trillion in the second quarter of 2026, according to data from the Ministry of Investment and Downstream Industry/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM).
The figure ranks first nationally for combined realisation of Foreign Direct Investment (PMA) and Domestic Direct Investment (PMDN).
Head of the Jakarta Provincial Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office (DPMPTSP) Heru Hermawanto, in a statement issued in Jakarta on Friday, said the Rp94.9 trillion in investment realisation contributed 18.5 percent to total national investment realisation.
“This achievement shows that Jakarta remains the primary investment destination in Indonesia,” Heru said.
According to him, investors’ growing confidence is the result of synergy among various parties in creating a conducive business climate, supported by the policy direction of the Jakarta Provincial Government, which places investment facilitation and public services as development priorities.
Notably, Jakarta’s PMDN realisation in the second quarter of 2026 reached Rp58.6 trillion. This placed Jakarta first nationally, with a contribution of 23.1 percent to total PMDN overall.
With this achievement, the cumulative investment realisation of Jakarta Province throughout the first half (January-June) of 2026 reached Rp173.6 trillion, comprising Rp106.5 trillion in PMDN and Rp67.1 trillion in PMA.
By comparison, the cumulative investment realisation of West Java Province in the first half of 2026 stood at Rp138.1 trillion, consisting of Rp76.8 trillion accumulated in the first quarter and Rp61.3 trillion in the second quarter.
The performance gap of Rp35.5 trillion confirms Jakarta Province as Indonesia’s largest investment magnet in the first half of 2026.
Heru said Jakarta’s dominance in domestic investment, coupled with strong foreign investment inflows, shows that the capital remains the top choice for businesses.
“This combination strengthens the region’s economic foundation while enhancing Jakarta’s competitiveness at both national and global levels,” he said.
