Jakarta Inner-City Toll Road Reopened

The section of the Jakarta Inner-City Toll Road that had been closed has been reopened. The toll road access was temporarily shut due to a demonstration in front of the House of Representatives (DPR) building.

Monitoring by detikcom in front of the DPR building on Thursday (27/8/2026) showed that the inner-city toll road began to be reopened at 20.00 WIB. The toll road was reopened after police carried out a sweep to ensure that the road was safe.

The inner-city toll road was reopened in both directions, both from Kuningan towards Slipi and vice versa.

Once reopened, vehicles were immediately able to pass through. However, the exit in front of the DPR building remains closed.

Previously, the inner-city toll road had been closed since the afternoon. The closure was implemented after a number of demonstrators forced their way onto the toll road.
