Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Jakarta Provincial Information Commission (KI DKI) states that the Jakarta Regional Health Training Centre (Puslatkesda) needs to strengthen its information service system, both directly and digitally, to achieve the “Informative Public Body” predicate.

“We are opening up space for discussion. If there are any obstacles, they can be consulted. The principle is to serve quickly, accurately, and in accordance with the procedures of the Public Information Disclosure Law (UU KIP),” said KI DKI Commissioner for Information Dispute Resolution Agus Wijayanto in Jakarta on Tuesday.

According to Agus, Puslatkesda DKI Jakarta recorded a score of 81.89 in the 2025 monitoring and evaluation (monev) of public information disclosure. Therefore, several aspects still need strengthening to achieve the “Informative Public Body” predicate.

This achievement serves as a good initial foundation, but it still requires sustained reinforcement. “This score indicates progress, but there is still room for improvement of around 9 points to reach the informative category. This must be a strategic note towards 2026,” he stated.

He said that the implementation of public information disclosure (KIP) is not merely about meeting assessment indicators, but about consistently carrying out the mandate of the law in every public body.

Of the hundreds of public bodies evaluated, said Agus, the number that successfully achieved the informative predicate remains relatively limited, namely 189 public bodies out of a total of 829 public bodies.

On that occasion, Agus highlighted the importance of strengthening the information service system, both directly and digitally. The information request flow is requested to be displayed clearly through the official website or physical media such as banners at the service desk.

In addition, public bodies are encouraged to immediately compile and complete the Public Information List (DIP), including ensuring the availability of periodic information that must be announced to the public.

Agus assessed that the time until the 2026 monev is still sufficient for improvements, including through consultations and coaching clinics.

Meanwhile, Head of Puslatkesda DKI Jakarta Fifi Mulyani conveyed that her side has received recommendations from KI DKI and realises that there are still many things that need to be addressed in managing the Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID).

“We realise that we still need to learn a lot. To achieve the informative predicate, we will not stop, but continue the process and improve the team’s capacity,” she said.

According to her, the various inputs received become important provisions for Puslatkesda in improving information services going forward. “We have gained a lot of knowledge and benefits that we will follow up as efforts to improve the quality of public information services,” she stated.
