Jakarta hosts Slo-pitch meet

JAKARTA (JP): Softball teams from Bangkok, Bandung, Jakarta,
Hong Kong, Manila, Tokyo, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia and Sumatra
yesterday began battling it out in the 12th annual Southeast
Asian Men's Slo-Pitch tournament.

The tournament, held at the Jakarta International School and
Senayan's Cemara Tiga diamond, was organized by the Jakarta Men's
Slo-Pitch Softball League. The 22 teams will continue their games
from 7 a.m. this morning until midnight tonight.

The finals will begin at 7 a.m. on Sunday, with the final game
being played about 11:30 a.m. at the Jakarta International
