Jakarta Hijab Fest 2026 Held in Tanah Abang

Jakarta — The “Jakarta Hijab Fest 2026” themed “Cahaya Fitri, Pesona Jakarta” (Light of Fitri, Charm of Jakarta) took place at Tanah Abang Market Block B in Central Jakarta on Thursday.

Governor of DKI Jakarta Pramono Anung Wibowo expressed appreciation for the event held at Tanah Abang Market. “Today I am truly surprised and delighted. I extend my appreciation because the fashion show organised by the DKI Provincial Government is equally impressive,” he said.

The event was attended by officials from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) and several officials from Regional State-Owned Enterprises (BUMD).

The garments showcased were purchased directly from Tanah Abang merchants as a tangible show of support for local business operators. “Their courage is extraordinary and I extend my highest appreciation,” Pramono remarked.

According to the Governor, the “Jakarta Hijab Fest 2026” further emphasises the strategic role of the Tanah Abang area in driving the local economy and serving as a source of livelihood for many families.

In the fashion show competition, the jury established three winners. Third place was awarded to participant number 32 from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Small and Medium Enterprise Services (PPKUKM), second place to participant number 43 from Perumda Pasar Jaya, and first place to participant number 5 from the East Jakarta Administrative City Government.

The awards were presented directly by Pramono Anung alongside Hani Pramono, Chairperson of the DKI Jakarta Provincial PKK Movement Team.
