Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office Inaugurates Three District Attorney Heads in Jakarta

The Jakarta Special Region High Prosecutor’s Office (Kejati) has inaugurated and administered the oath of office to three District Attorneys within the Jakarta region as part of efforts to strengthen the implementation of law enforcement duties and functions.

“The three officials inaugurated are Oktafian Syah Effendi as the Head of the Central Jakarta District Attorney’s Office, Armen Wijaya as the Head of the South Jakarta District Attorney’s Office, and Roy Riady as the Head of the North Jakarta District Attorney’s Office,” stated the Head of the Jakarta Special Region High Prosecutor’s Office, Sutikno, while presiding over the inauguration and handover ceremony at the 5th Floor Hall of the Jakarta High Prosecutor’s Office on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the three previous officials occupying these positions have been assigned to new roles within the Prosecutor’s Office. These officials include Antonius Despinola, who has been assigned as the Head of the Execution and Examination Sub-directorate at the Directorate of the Attorney General’s Office for General Crimes, and Syahrul Juaksha Subuki, who has been appointed as the Assistant for General Crimes at the West Java High Prosecutor’s Office.

In his address, Sutikno emphasised the importance of maintaining integrity, professionalism, and solidarity in performing duties, as well as improving the quality of legal services provided to the public. He also urged the newly appointed officials to adapt quickly and build coordination and synergy with all ranks to continue ongoing work programmes.

The handover of positions is part of organisational dynamics and an effort to refresh and strengthen the implementation of the Prosecutor’s Office’s duties and functions, particularly in providing professional, high-integrity law enforcement services oriented towards the public interest.
