The Jakarta High Prosecutor’s Office (Kejati DKI) conducted raids at three locations in Jakarta and Depok to gather evidence in connection with an investigation into alleged corruption involving inflated costs or mark-up in the migration of Suralaya power plant unit 3 from 500 kV to 150 kV at PT PLN Indonesia Power for the 2024 fiscal year.

Dapot Dariaman, Head of Legal Affairs at Kejati DKI, stated that the three locations were raided on Thursday 26 February to collect evidence. The three locations included PT High Voltage Technology, located on the 32nd floor of the Office 88 building at Kota Kasablanka, a residential property in Pancoran Mas, Depok, and a residential property in the Lebak Bulus area of South Jakarta.

“The Special Crime Unit and Intelligence Division of the Jakarta High Prosecutor’s Office have conducted a raid as part of the investigation into the alleged corruption case involving mark-up in the Suralaya power plant unit 3 migration activity from 500 kV to 150 kV at PT PLN Indonesia Power for fiscal year 2024, with a budgeted value of Rp219,204,394,976, executed by PT High Voltage Technology with a contract value of Rp177,552,218,661,” Dapot told journalists on Friday 27 February.

“The activity was carried out based on Search and Seizure Order Number PRINT-07/M.1/Fd.1/02/2026 dated 24 February 2026,” he added.

From the raid, investigators seized documents and electronic items from the raided locations. “As a result of the raid, the investigative team seized several pieces of evidence in the form of documents and electronic items deemed necessary and relevant for the investigation into the alleged corruption case,” Dapot said.

“The collection and seizure of evidence constitutes part of law enforcement proceedings conducted professionally, transparently, and accountably as a manifestation of the Jakarta High Prosecutor’s Office’s commitment to combating corruption,” he concluded. As of the time of writing, Indonesia Power had not provided an official statement regarding the case being handled by Kejati DKI.
