Jakarta governor must be Betawi

The incumbent governor of Jakarta is not indigenous to Jakarta
(Betawi) so it is not advisable for him to run for a second term
as governor.

For the same reason, the cadres of the Indonesian Democratic
Party of Struggle (PDI Perjuangan) in the City Council should not
support Sutiyoso's reelection.

The chance of being the governor of Jakarta must be given to a
Betawi representative, one who is indigenous to this city.

Look at what Sutiyoso has done. He has renovated the Hotel
Indonesia traffic circle at an astronomical cost, put up a fence
around the National Monument area and allowed sidewalk vendors to
cause greater disorder in the markets.

All indigenous Jakarta people must support the nomination of a
Betawi as the next governor of Jakarta, who is capable of
developing this city in line with the Betawi culture.
