Jakarta Governor inaugurates seven senior officials
Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung has inaugurated seven senior officials within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government as part of an organisational refresh.
“I believe an organisation must always be refined. I want the organisation at City Hall to be faster in decision-making and so on. Because for me, that is important,” he said at Jakarta City Hall on Wednesday.
The seven officials inaugurated are Abdul Khalit as Head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial National Unity and Political Agency, Mochamad Abbas as Head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Regional Asset Management Agency, and M Matsani as Head of the Education and Mental Spiritual Bureau of the DKI Jakarta Regional Secretariat.
Also inaugurated were Fajar Eko Satriyo as Head of the Government Bureau of the DKI Jakarta Regional Secretariat, and Muhammad Herizkianto as Head of the Economy and Finance Bureau of the DKI Jakarta Regional Secretariat.
Pramono advised the officials to carry out their work consistently and to operate under a clear legal framework.
“Do not operate outside the legal framework that has been established. Because almost all decisions at City Hall are made through meetings. I never make decisions outside of meetings. This is what makes things transparent,” he said.
He said the inauguration was the result of a transfer and rotation process through talent selection for refreshment and tour of duty assignments for senior official positions within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, in coordination with the National Civil Service Agency.
“Because I do not want there to be any gap at all that could be questioned,” Pramono said.
