its residents above his own, he would have run for the position
of governor himself.

ideal pairing: Sutiyoso as governor, with Fauzi Bowo as his
deputy.

problems in Jakarta and can work together well. Both can develop
a synergy to give their best to Jakarta. Fauzi Bowo, for example,
is noted for his expertise in the administrative field, a good
reason to make him Jakarta deputy governor.

security problems in the capital city. He has also rebuilt the
trust of businessmen, an act very useful for reviving economic
