Jakarta Government Receives Rp2.27 Trillion in Public Assets from Developers
The Jakarta Provincial Government has received social and public facility assets from developers in the first half of 2026 worth Rp2.27 trillion, which will be used to strengthen the provision of public space and various services for the community. The assets handed over consist of land covering 224,969 square metres, construction covering 81,803 square metres, and the conversion of Low-Cost/Simple Flats valued at Rp56.96 billion. “All signed documents were immediately handed over to the Regional Asset Management Agency to be recorded as official assets of the Jakarta Provincial Government and utilised for the public interest,” said Pramono at City Hall on Wednesday. Pramono stated that, based on the 2025 Regional Government Financial Report, the total obligation for developers to hand over social and public facilities reaches 27,052,267 square metres. Of that amount, 18,494,947 square metres have been handed over to the Jakarta Provincial Government, whilst 8,557,320 square metres, or approximately 31.63 percent, is still in the settlement process. Pramono stressed that the Jakarta Provincial Government will continue to strengthen coordination with all holders of land use designation permits, land utilisation permits, and spatial utilisation principle permits so that the remaining obligation of 8.56 million square metres can be settled promptly. The faster the obligations are fulfilled, the greater the benefits the community can enjoy through the availability of better public spaces, infrastructure, and service facilities. “This is also part of the effort to build Jakarta as a sustainable city,” Pramono said.
