The Jakarta Food Security, Marine, and Agriculture Agency (KPKP) is providing technical guidance on mobile phone photography and digital transformation for MSMEs to enhance the capacity of business operators in facing the development of digital-based marketing. “This training equips MSME operators with practical skills in producing attractive product photos using smartphones,” said Iwan Indriyanto, Head of the Agriculture Division at the DKI Jakarta KPKP Agency, on Friday. The activity, held in the multipurpose room on the second floor of the DKI Jakarta KPKP Agency, was attended by assisted MSMEs engaged in agricultural and food products. In addition to product photography training, participants also received material on the digital transformation of MSMEs, covering the use of technology, artificial intelligence (AI), and strengthening digital marketing competencies. The material was provided to help business operators understand various opportunities that can be utilised to expand markets and increase promotional effectiveness. “Strengthening marketing capabilities is one of the important factors in increasing the competitiveness of MSME products amidst increasingly competitive markets,” he said. According to him, good product quality must be supported by an attractive promotional strategy capable of reaching consumers widely. “This ability is an important aspect in increasing the selling value and appeal of products on digital platforms,” he stated. Iwan conveyed that the development of digital technology has changed marketing patterns and consumer behaviour. Therefore, MSME operators need to continuously adapt to be able to utilise various digital platforms, including social media, as more effective means of promotion and business development. “It is hoped that MSME operators can improve their ability to manage digital marketing independently, expand market reach, and encourage sustainable business growth,” he said.
