The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has prepared traffic engineering around the Kemayoran area during the 2026 Jakarta Fair to anticipate an increase in vehicle volume. Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Budi Awaluddin, stated on Thursday that road users can take traffic routes from Jalan Gunung Sahari towards Tanjung Priok via Jalan Angkasa – Jalan HBR Motik – Jalan Danau Sunter Barat – Jalan Sunter Permai/Jalan Danau Sunter Utara, or via Jalan Gunung Sahari – Jalan R.E. Martadinata and onwards. Meanwhile, traffic from Tanjung Priok towards Jalan Gunung Sahari (Senen/Monas) can proceed via Jalan R.E. Martadinata – Jalan Gunung Sahari and onwards. Budi stated that DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency officers will be on standby together with the Police and relevant stakeholders to manage traffic during the event. He appealed to the public to comply with the directives of officers on the ground, observe installed traffic signs, and prioritise safety while driving. Budi also urged the public to avoid roads potentially experiencing congestion around the Kemayoran area during peak visiting hours and to adjust their journeys according to prevailing traffic conditions. In addition to alternative routes, the DKI Provincial Government has also prepared six parking areas during the event, namely in Block B-7, Block B-14, Block C-3, Block C-4, MGK Mall, and inside the JIExpo Kemayoran complex, with a total capacity of 4,967 four-wheeled vehicles and 5,650 two-wheeled vehicles. Furthermore, to facilitate visitor mobility, the DKI Provincial Government encourages the public to utilise public transport to reach the 2026 Kemayoran Jakarta Fair.
