Jakarta Government Opens Vehicle Tax Penalty Waiver Service at Jakarta Fair

The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, through its Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda), is once again providing convenience for the public in fulfilling motor vehicle tax obligations. This year, residents can pay their Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) at a Samsat booth located within the Jakarta Fair (PRJ) area. The presence of the Samsat booth at PRJ is part of efforts to bring local tax services closer to the community. Through this service, visitors can not only enjoy the exhibition, entertainment, culinary offerings, and various activities at PRJ, but also complete their vehicle tax payments more practically on-site. The service is made even more relevant by a programme waiving administrative penalties for PKB and Motor Vehicle Transfer Fee (BBNKB). This programme is being held in celebration of Jakarta’s 499th anniversary and runs from 1 June to 31 August 2026.
