Jakarta Government Employee Accused of Trespassing Into Resident's Home in Ancol Reportedly Experiencing Anxiety Disorder

Jakarta — A state civil servant (ASN) from the Jakarta Provincial Government with the initials NS, aged 47, who entered a resident’s home without permission in the Lodan Raya area, Pademangan, North Jakarta, was reportedly experiencing an anxiety disorder at the time of the incident.

The head of the Bahari Museum UP Unit, Mis’ari, explained that NS was in poor health at the time and mistakenly believed the resident’s house was his office address.

“The house’s address is not far from the office,” he explained when contacted by Kompas.com on Friday, 13 March 2026.

Mis’ari emphasised that NS was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol when the incident occurred.

“He had already been to the doctor this morning and regularly consults with a doctor about his condition,” he added.

The incident previously became the subject of widespread discussion on social media after an account uploaded a video showing a man believed to be an ASN from Jakarta Provincial Government inside a resident’s home without permission.

Based on a post from the account @lbj_jakarta, the resident appeared to be searching the man who was narrated as having consumed drugs. The man appeared to be wearing a white shirt and a black jacket, whilst his face looked confused. Mis’ari expressed regret over the narrative circulating on social media as it was deemed inconsistent with the actual situation.
