Jakarta forecast to continue receiving rain on Monday

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has forecast light to moderate rainfall across parts of Jakarta on Monday morning and evening.

Through its official Instagram account @infobmkg, the BMKG detailed that West Jakarta and Central Jakarta are expected to experience heavy cloud cover throughout the day, with temperatures of 26 degrees Celsius.

South Jakarta is predicted to have heavy cloud cover from morning to midday, followed by light rain in the afternoon, progressing to moderate rain in the evening. Temperatures in the area are expected to be around 26 degrees Celsius.

East Jakarta is forecast to experience light rain this morning, followed by heavy cloud cover at midday. Light rain is then expected in the afternoon, turning to moderate rain in the evening. Temperatures in East Jakarta are also forecast at 26 degrees Celsius.

North Jakarta is predicted to have light rain this morning, followed by heavy cloud cover at midday, then light rain from afternoon through to evening. Temperatures in North Jakarta are also expected to reach 26 degrees Celsius.

The Thousand Islands are likewise forecast to experience light rain this morning, followed by heavy cloud cover from midday to afternoon. By evening, there is potential for thunderstorms.
