Jakarta Forecast to be Cloudy All Day, Temperatures to Reach 31°C

Jakarta is forecast to be overcast all day, with thick cloud cover across the capital. The entire Jakarta area is monitored as cloudy with no rain expected, though high humidity will keep the air humid. According to notes from the BMKG, the highest temperature is recorded in South Jakarta and East Jakarta, reaching 31°C. These two areas also posted high humidity, up to 91 percent and 93 percent, making the air feel muggy even though the sun is not a dominant feature. This condition makes those two areas feel quite damp throughout the day. North Jakarta is slightly cooler, with temperatures between 26–29°C, and the Thousand Islands recording the most stable range of 27–29°C. Although there is no rain today, the public is advised to watch for weather changes that could occur at any time. On Thursday 21 May 2026, the Thousand Islands is predicted to be the only area to receive light rain, at 27–29°C. In general, temperatures are expected to range from 25–31°C with hot and humid conditions across nearly all Jakarta.
