Jakarta Firefighters Compete in Skills Challenge at JFFC 2026

A number of participants took part in the Jakarta Fire Fighter Challenge (JFFC) 2026 at the Gulkarmat Education and Training Centre in Ciracas, Jakarta, on Tuesday (11/8/2026). The event, organised by the DKI Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat), featured two categories: Hoselaying and Braveheart. The challenge was designed to test the physical ability, technical skills, and preparedness of personnel in facing firefighting and rescue situations. Speed and precision were crucial elements in the Hoselaying challenge, which was structured to simulate real-world field conditions. The JFFC 2026 served as a platform for personnel to test their abilities while simultaneously improving their readiness to carry out fire suppression and rescue duties. Beyond being a competition, the Jakarta Fire Fighter Challenge 2026 was part of an effort to enhance professionalism and preparedness among personnel in protecting the community.
