Jakarta Fair Kemayoran 2026 records Rp8.2 trillion in transactions
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The multiproduct exhibition Jakarta Fair Kemayoran (JFK) recorded transaction value of Rp8.2 trillion and a total of 6.1 million visitors during the event, which ran from 11 June to 12 July 2026.
“The enthusiasm of the people of Jakarta, and even from outside Jakarta, was very high. This was evident in this year’s event, with Jakarta Fair visited by more than 6 million people. Transactions exceeded Rp8 trillion,” said Deputy Governor of DKI Rano Karno at the closing ceremony of Jakarta Fair Kemayoran on Sunday.
He said the achievement reflects Jakarta’s maintained economic optimism. In the first quarter of 2026, Jakarta’s economy grew by 5.59 per cent, contributing 16.67 per cent to the national economy.
Therefore, Rano hoped the event would help drive Jakarta’s economic sector, propelled by the government, the creative industries and MSMEs.
He also hoped the event would serve as momentum for Jakarta ahead of its five-century milestone and its growth into a global city.
“Let us make this momentum one of the best gifts to welcome 500 years of the city of Jakarta, while also supporting Jakarta’s growth as a global city,” he said.
Meanwhile, Chairperson of the Jakarta Fair 2026 Organising Committee Hartati Murdaya expressed gratitude for the support of the DKI Provincial Government for the Jakarta Fair.
“Total visitors to Jakarta Fair reached 6.1 million, and transactions between sellers and buyers reached Rp8.2 trillion,” said Hartati.
Since it was first held in 1968, Jakarta Fair has been an important space for businesses to market their products while sustaining economic optimism.
Over its history, the event was only cancelled once, in 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Beyond serving as a promotional and entertainment space for the public, the annual event also drives economic activity and strengthens the competitiveness of national products.
Thus, the spirit of collaboration reflected in the staging of Jakarta Fair and the celebration of Jakarta’s 499th anniversary represents important capital as the city approaches its fifth century in 2027.
“This event successfully absorbed tens of thousands of workers, counted from the preparation period through the entire run of the exhibition,” said Hartati.
The annual Jakarta Fair Kemayoran (JFK) 2026 exhibition was held for 32 days, from 11 June to 12 July, at JIEXPO Kemayoran, Jakarta.
The exhibition, organised to mark the 499th anniversary of DKI, was attended by 2,800 participants, with approximately 1,800 stands erected across the exhibition area.
