Jakarta Fair 2026 Targets Rp8 Trillion in Transactions and 6 Million Visitors
Southeast Asia’s largest exhibition and entertainment event, Jakarta Fair Kemayoran (JFK) 2026, has officially set ambitious targets for this year’s staging. PT Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) is aiming for more than 6 million visitors with an economic transaction value approaching Rp8 trillion. The 2026 Jakarta Fair is scheduled to run for 32 days, from 11 June to 12 July 2026 at JIExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. This year’s target represents an increase from the 2025 achievement, which recorded 5.9 million visitors and total transactions of Rp7.3 trillion. PT JIExpo Marketing Director Ralph Scheunemann expressed optimism despite the global exhibition industry being overshadowed by geopolitical challenges, particularly in the Middle East. “Of course, we hope that this year visitors will exceed 6 million and transactions will approach Rp8 trillion,” Ralph said in Jakarta on Thursday (4/6). Jakarta Fair 2026 holds significant historical value as it is part of the 499th Jakarta Anniversary celebration series. This momentum simultaneously paves the way towards the grand 500th anniversary of Jakarta City in 2027. In terms of participation, the exhibition involves 2,800 participants spread across 1,800 stands. The participant composition consists of 55 per cent large private sector companies and 45 per cent Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), demonstrating the event’s support for the grassroots economy. Besides the multi-product exhibition, the Jakarta Fair Music Concert remains a main attraction. A lineup of top musicians including Slank, Hindia, JKT48, and NDX AKA is confirmed to enliven the main stage alternately throughout the full month. To support visitor comfort, JIExpo General Manager Operations Oki Setiawan confirmed the strengthening of public transport services. In cooperation with TransJakarta, a special route is available connecting directly to Gate 2 of JIExpo to help ease potential congestion. With thorough preparations in terms of infrastructure and event content, Jakarta Fair 2026 is expected to become a driving force for the domestic economy amidst global uncertainty.
