Jakarta Fair 2026 Targets Rp8 Trillion in Transactions and 6 Million Visitors
As Southeast Asia’s largest exhibition and entertainment event, Jakarta Fair Kemayoran (JFK) 2026 has officially set ambitious targets for this year’s implementation. PT Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) is aiming for a visitor count of more than 6 million people, with economic transaction values approaching the Rp8 trillion mark.
The Jakarta Fair 2026 is scheduled to run for 32 days, from 11 June to 12 July 2026, at JIExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. This year’s target represents an increase compared to the 2025 achievements, which recorded 5.9 million visitors with total transactions of Rp7.3 trillion.
Marketing Director of PT JIExpo, Ralph Scheunemann, expressed optimism despite the global exhibition industry facing geopolitical challenges, particularly in the Middle East region. “We certainly hope that this year visitors will exceed 6 million and transactions will approach Rp8 trillion,” Ralph stated in Jakarta on Thursday.
Jakarta Fair 2026 holds significant historical value as it is part of the series of celebrations for the 499th anniversary of Jakarta. This momentum also serves as a ‘road to’ the major commemoration of the 500th anniversary of Jakarta City, which will take place in 2027.
In terms of participation, the exhibition features 2,800 participants spread across 1,800 booths. The participant composition consists of 55 per cent large private sector companies and 45 per cent Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), demonstrating the event’s commitment to the grassroots economy.
In addition to the multi-product exhibition, the Jakarta Fair Music Concert remains a primary attraction. A lineup of top musicians, including Slank, Hindia, JKT48, and NDX AKA, is confirmed to enliven the main stage alternately throughout the month.
To support visitor comfort, the General Manager of Operations at JIExpo, Oki Setiawan, ensured the strengthening of public transport services. In collaboration with TransJakarta, special routes will be available, connecting directly to JIExpo Gate 2 to alleviate potential traffic congestion.
With mature preparations in terms of infrastructure and event content, Jakarta Fair 2026 is expected to serve as a driver for the domestic economy amidst global uncertainty.
