Jakarta Fair 2026 Becomes a Battleground for Electric Motorcycle Price Wars
Jakarta Fair Kemayoran (JFK) 2026 has once again become a venue for various industry players to reach consumers directly, including electric two-wheeler manufacturers. Amidst increasing market competition, several electric motorcycle brands are leveraging Indonesia’s largest annual exhibition to offer attractive sales programmes, ranging from substantial discounts and cashback to light instalment plans. This phenomenon demonstrates that Jakarta Fair is not only a place for entertainment and shopping, but also a competitive arena for electric vehicle producers to expand their market and encourage consumer interest in switching to more environmentally friendly transport.
One participant presenting an aggressive promotional programme is United E-Motor. During the Jakarta Fair 2026, which runs from 11 June to 12 July, the company is offering price reductions on several motorcycle models at Hall A3 No. 7. Among the discounted models, the United TX3000 is priced at Rp23.79 million, down from a normal price of Rp50.9 million; the United TX1800 is reduced to Rp18.19 million from Rp34.9 million; and the United T1800 is offered at Rp14.69 million from Rp31.5 million. Additionally, the United MT1500 is marketed at Rp11.9 million from Rp16.9 million, while the United MX1200 is priced at Rp11.8 million from Rp16.8 million. The Avand SC122 and Avand SC121 models are offered at Rp12.6 million and Rp12.2 million respectively during the exhibition.
Andrew Mulyadi, Director of PT Terang Dunia Internusa Tbk (UNTD), stated that Jakarta Fair is a crucial momentum to further introduce electric vehicles to a wider public. ‘We see that public enthusiasm for electric vehicles is increasing year by year. Through Jakarta Fair 2026, we want to provide the best opportunity for consumers to own quality electric motorcycles with very attractive offers. We are presenting large discounts, cashback, zero per cent instalments, and direct gifts as a form of appreciation to customers who trust United E-Motor as a future mobility solution,’ said Andrew Mulyadi.
Beyond price cuts, the company is also offering various supporting programmes to facilitate transactions. Through a partnership with Shopee, consumers have the chance to obtain cashback of up to Rp1 million for unit purchases during the exhibition period. Meanwhile, a collaboration with Kredivo allows customers to enjoy a zero per cent instalment plan for up to 12 months. Every electric motorcycle purchase during Jakarta Fair will also come with a direct gift of a special edition Jakarta Fair 2026 tumbler.
The various promotions presented by electric motorcycle producers at Jakarta Fair reflect the industry’s increasingly intensive efforts to broaden the user base of electric vehicles in Indonesia. Besides offering more competitive pricing, manufacturers are also trying to attract public interest through financing ease and additional incentives. Exhibitions like Jakarta Fair are still considered an effective marketing channel because they allow potential consumers to view products directly, compare various options, and obtain special offers that are not always available outside the exhibition period. In addition to promotional programmes, visitors to Jakarta Fair 2026 can also see first-hand United E-Motor’s various product lines, which feature modern designs, the latest electric vehicle technology, and energy efficiency that is a key attraction of electric two-wheelers.
