Jakarta Drenched in Rain Today as Humidity Reaches 96 Per Cent

Most areas of DKI Jakarta are forecast to experience light rain on Thursday, 21 May 2026. The air temperature is expected to be between 25 and 32 degrees Celsius, with humidity remaining relatively high throughout the day.

Central Jakarta is forecast to experience light rain with temperatures of 26–32°C and humidity of 72–91 per cent. Meanwhile, West Jakarta is expected to see light rain with temperatures around 26–30°C and humidity of 72–91 per cent. South Jakarta may also see light rain, with temperatures of 26–32°C and humidity reaching 70–95 per cent. East Jakarta is predicted to have light rain with temperatures of 26–32°C and humidity of 68–96 per cent. Kepulauan Seribu is also forecast to have light rain with temperatures of 26–29°C and humidity of 76–82 per cent.

The high humidity is prompting people to carry rain gear when outdoors, particularly from afternoon to evening.

Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta are forecast to experience light rain with an average temperature of 24–31°C. Kepulauan Seribu is expected to be cloudy with temperatures in the 28–30°C range. Humidity levels across all areas remain high, ranging from 65 to 97 per cent.
