The Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) has announced the distribution of various logistics to meet the needs of fire victims in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.

“Aid has been distributed since last night, and BPBD assistance is still being moved to the location,” said the Head of Jakarta BPBD, Marulitua Sijabat, in Jakarta on Tuesday.

Marulitua stated that the aid distributed by the Jakarta BPBD includes 330 clothing packages, 330 family kits, 330 children’s aid packages, 620 folding mattresses, 620 pillows, 620 blankets, and 10 tarpaulins. Additionally, the BPBD distributed 620 boxes of ready-to-eat meals, 200 boxes of mineral water, and 330 tins of biscuits.

“We have also deployed personnel to assist the fire victims,” he added. He further noted that in addition to logistical aid, the BPBD and relevant agencies have erected several tents to serve as temporary housing for the displaced. “The establishment of tents has been carried out, and more will be added currently,” he said.

Previously, the Central Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat) recorded that 620 individuals from 330 households lost their homes due to the fire in Kemayoran on Monday night.

“There are approximately 620 people who have lost their homes,” said the Head of Central Jakarta Gulkarmat, Syarifudin. Syarifudin detailed that the fire victims in RT 12 to RT 16, RW 4 numbered 500 people, while RT 01-03, RW 5 in the Kebon Kosong sub-district accounted for 120 people. He stated that the blaze caused 330 households in the Kebon Kosong sub-district, Kemayoran district, Central Jakarta, to lose their residences.
