JAKARTA: Delivery service company TNT Indonesia voiced support
JAKARTA: Delivery service company TNT Indonesia voiced support
on Wednesday for the ongoing anti-bribery campaign spearheaded by
the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin).
TNT said all the members of the Association of Indonesian
Express Delivery Services Company (Asperindo), including TNT
Indonesia, had signed the anti-bribery pact on Oct. 9.
"This initiative on anti bribery, which is aimed at creating a
transparent business environment, is in line with the recent
upgrade by Moody's and S&P on Indonesia's rating, indicating
promising business developments," TNT Indonesia's president
director Colin Moran, who is also Asperindo's international
compartment coordinator, said in a statement.
Moran said the initiative would help boost the country's
economic recovery and thus TNT, as a leading player in the
delivery-services industry would benefit.
Moran said as part of the anti-bribery campaign, TNT would
educate the public on the dangers of bribery.
Asperindo has 600 members throughout Indonesia, with 117 of
them based in Jakarta. -- JP
