Jakarta CSR Forum Distributes Aid to 500 Orphans Ahead of 10 Muharram
PT Suri Nusantara Jaya (SNJ) together with the Jakarta CSR Forum distributed aid to 500 orphans at the As-Sakinah Nusantara Mosque in Tebet, South Jakarta, to commemorate the 10th of Muharram 1448 Hijriah.
“Alhamdulillah, the distribution of aid went smoothly and brought happiness to the children,” said Aldi Imam Wibowo, General Chair of the Jakarta CSR Forum.
According to Aldi, the success of an ecosystem is not solely measured by economic or business growth figures, but by the extent of the positive impact and benefits directly felt by the community. “The presence, joy, and extraordinary talents displayed today are a reminder for all of us to always be grateful and uphold the trust in spreading kindness,” he said.
The event was conducted solemnly, featuring recitations of the Holy Qur’an, hadroh performances, and other talent showcases. The performers represented various foundations and orphanages from across the DKI Jakarta region. The programme also included communal prayers, a religious lecture, and the symbolic handover of aid and gifts.
“This activity is a tangible manifestation of the business world’s ongoing commitment to strengthening the social collaboration ecosystem and supporting the welfare of the community in the Jakarta area,” said SNJ CEO Diana Dewi.
The Jakarta CSR Forum aims to continuously encourage and bridge the private sector so that corporate social responsibility programmes can be well-integrated, right on target, and provide space for the future of the nation’s generation. “We hope the happiness shared today can encourage these younger siblings to keep learning, be brave in showcasing their talents, and achieve their dreams,” she added.
The Jakarta CSR Forum is committed to consistently delivering sustainable humanitarian social programmes in DKI Jakarta going forward.
