Jakarta crime roundup: Blasphemy suspects detained, illegal drugs seized
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Criminal incidents occurred in DKI Jakarta on Thursday, ranging from the naming of four suspects in an alleged blasphemy case during a music festival in North Jakarta to the discovery of thousands of illegal prescription pills in the Tanah Abang market area.

Two suspected perpetrators in the alleged blasphemy case during ‘The Sounds Project’ music festival in Ancol, North Jakarta, on Sunday, were detained at Polda Metro Jaya. Based on information gathered by ANTARA at the scene, around 4.30 p.m. Western Indonesian Time, the two suspects were wearing detainee uniforms and had both hands handcuffed.

Polda Metro Jaya has named four individuals as suspects in the alleged blasphemy case that occurred at an alcoholic beverage stand during The Sounds Project music festival at Eco Park Ancol, North Jakarta. The Director of General Criminal Investigation at Polda Metro Jaya, Senior Commissioner Iman Imanuddin, confirmed that of the four suspects, with the initials RES, AK, I, and M, two have been arrested and detained.
