Jakarta Council Family Association Under Devia Rosa to Strengthen Organisation and Community Service
Devia Rosa is leading the Ikatan Keluarga Dewan (IKD) of the DPRD DKI Jakarta for the 2024-2029 period. The new board will strengthen the organisation’s internal solidarity while expanding social activities that benefit the community.
This was revealed during a gathering of the IKD DPRD DKI Jakarta extended family, which included the handover of the decree on changes to the IKD DPRD DKI Jakarta Province board on Monday (22/6).
IKD DPRD DKI Jakarta Chair Devia Rosa stated that the new board brings a spirit of balancing internal family activities with community social programmes. “We want the Council Family Association to provide broader benefits for the residents of Jakarta,” Devia said.
She hopes that the entire extended family of the DPRD DKI Jakarta can actively participate in every IKD work programme. “So that everyone can be actively involved in IKD activities, not just the board members,” Devia added.
In her remarks, Devia mentioned that the IKD work programme for 2026-2027 will cover social and community affairs, spirituality, education and health, as well as sports and arts. The IKD will also carry out region-based social guidance, educational mentoring for the younger generation, public health activities, and the strengthening of humanitarian social activities.
One of the initial programmes is the development of an Integrated Service Post (Posyandu) by the IKD in North Jakarta. The programme will target areas still facing stunting issues, including Rawa Badak Urban Village.
In addition to strengthening work programmes, the IKD is also refining its Articles of Association and Bylaws (AD/ART). The refinement is aimed at making the organisation more inclusive and able to accommodate the extended family of the DPRD DKI Jakarta more broadly.
DPRD DKI Jakarta Speaker Suhud Alynudin welcomed the new IKD board. He noted that the IKD plays an important role in strengthening relations within the council’s extended family, as well as supporting the DPRD’s social activities in the community. “It helps socialise the DPRD’s various social activities to the public,” Suhud explained.
Suhud expressed hope that the IKD board for the 2024-2029 period can maintain cohesiveness and deliver activities that have a positive impact on the residents of Jakarta.
