Jakarta Could See Light Rain on Saturday Evening

Jakarta (ANTARA) – The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecasts light rain across most of Jakarta on Saturday evening.

In a forecast posted on its Instagram account, @infobmkg, BMKG said most of Jakarta would be sunny at 7am, while the Thousand Islands would be partly cloudy. By around 10am, almost all parts of the capital were expected to be partly cloudy, except Central Jakarta, which was forecast to be sunny.

Morning temperatures are expected to range from 27°C to 32°C, with average wind speeds of 2–13 kilometres per hour.

At 1pm, all parts of Jakarta are forecast to be partly cloudy. Temperatures are expected to range from 29°C to 34°C, with winds of 7–16 kilometres per hour.

By around 4pm, light rain is possible in parts of Jakarta, while Central Jakarta and the Thousand Islands are expected to be partly cloudy and North Jakarta cloudy. Afternoon temperatures are forecast to range from 29°C to 31°C, with winds of 9–14 kilometres per hour.

At around 7pm, almost all parts of Jakarta are expected to experience light rain, with South Jakarta forecast to be cloudy. Temperatures are expected to range from 26°C to 28°C, with winds of 4–9 kilometres per hour.
