Jakarta Composite Index Weakens After Breaking 7,523 Level; Three LQ45 Top Gainers Identified

Jakarta, VIVA — The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) stumbled after recording significant gains at the opening of trading today. The IHSG weakened 0.04 per cent or 3.11 points to 7,437.81 level in the first trading session on Wednesday, 11 March 2026.

Based on VIVA’s monitoring via Stockbit, the IHSG opened higher at 7,484 level before surging to break through the 7,523 area. The index then gradually declined to 7,429 before rebounding and subsequently falling once more.

Transaction value reached Rp 7.67 trillion whilst transaction volume reached Rp 183.2 million. Meanwhile, total trading comprised 1.09 million transactions.

Despite the IHSG decline, the majority of stock sectors actually posted gains. The property and technology sectors recorded the highest increases of 1.07 per cent.

The infrastructure sector rose 0.67 per cent, cyclical and non-cyclical consumer sectors jumped 0.54 per cent, the transportation sector increased 0.34 per cent and the financial sector strengthened 0.16 per cent.

Conversely, the raw materials sector experienced a sharp decline of 1.05 per cent. Losses were also recorded in the industrial sector of 0.42 per cent, the energy sector declined 0.37 per cent and the healthcare sector fell 0.02 per cent.

From a technical perspective, analysts at Phintraco Securities observed that the IHSG is testing dynamic resistance at the MA5 level around 7,500. From the modern indicator side, MACD remains flat with the stochastic RSI indicator already in the oversold region.

“We estimate the IHSG will move within the 7,400–7,500 range in the second trading session today,” Phintraco Securities analysts stated in their commentary on Wednesday, 11 March 2026.

Phintraco Securities also reported that several issuers continued to record positive results whilst the IHSG experienced modest correction. Below are three stocks with the highest price gains among the 45 leading emitters (LQ45).

Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR)

UNVR shares surged 5.40 per cent or 105 points to the 2,050 level.

Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA)

SCMA shares jumped 4.03 per cent or 10 points to 258.

Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (EMTK)

EMTK shares strengthened 2.74 per cent or 20 points to break through the 750 area.
