Jakarta Composite Index Closes in Green, Gains 1.41 Per Cent to 7,440.91

The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) closed in positive territory on Tuesday’s trading session, 10 March 2026, strengthening by 103.54 points or 1.41 per cent to 7,440.91.

Throughout trading, the IHSG moved within a range of 7,372.82 to 7,499.82, with an opening level at 7,443.05.

According to data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), equity trading volume reached 33.46 billion shares, with trading frequency totalling 1.984 billion transactions.

Share price movements at market close today were dominated by gains. A total of 556 stocks advanced, 203 declined, and 199 remained unchanged.

Local indices also moved into positive territory. The LQ45 closed up 1.25 per cent or 9.36 points to 759.94, whilst the KOMPAS100 rose 1.65 per cent to 1,037.31.

The strongest gains were recorded in the raw materials sector, which rose 92.13 points or 4.42 per cent to 2,174.73. The energy sector strengthened 2.06 per cent to 3,877.08, the property sector rose 2.17 per cent to 956.65, and the health sector gained 0.82 per cent to 1,825.88.

The financial sector also advanced 0.99 per cent or 13.66 points to 1,394.67, whilst the infrastructure sector rose 1 per cent to 1,989.36. The transportation sector gained 2.29 per cent or 40.64 points to 1,814.55, and the industrial sector strengthened 2.86 per cent to 1,852.44.
