Jakarta’s Civil Registry Office (Dukcapil) has announced adjusted service hours during the month of Ramadan 2026. The changes are based on Governor’s Circular Letter No. 1 of 2026 concerning Civil Service Working Hours during the month of Ramadan 1447 H/2026 M.
As announced via the @dukcapiljakarta Instagram account, the adjusted service and break hours for the DKI Jakarta Provincial Civil Registry Office during Ramadan 2026 are as follows:

The adjusted hours apply to all service counters at the sub-district (kelurahan), district (kecamatan), sub-agency (sudin), and main Civil Registry Office levels. The “Friday Evening” (Jum’at Petang) service will be temporarily suspended for the duration of Ramadan.
According to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government website, the provincial administration has established adjusted working hours for Civil Service Apparatus (ASN) during Ramadan 1447 Hijriah. The provisions are set out in DKI Jakarta Governor’s Circular Letter No. 1/SE/2026 concerning Working Hours during the Holy Month of Ramadan 2026 M/1447 H.
The Head of DKI Jakarta’s Regional Civil Service Agency (BKD), Premi Lasari, affirmed that the adjusted working hours aim to maintain ASN productivity whilst supporting the smooth observance of Ramadan worship.
“The adjustment of working hours during Ramadan regulates ASN working time to remain effective. The principle is that discipline and performance are maintained, and public services must not decline,” she said in Jakarta on Wednesday, 18 February.
The ASN working hour provisions during Ramadan 2026 are as follows:
- Monday to Thursday: Working hours 08:00–15:00 WIB; break 12:00–12:30 WIB
- Friday: Working hours 08:00–15:30 WIB; break 11:30–12:30 WIB
For regional agencies or work units providing direct 24-hour services to the public and/or supporting operational services, working hour provisions shall follow DKI Jakarta Governor’s Decree No. 812 of 2025 concerning Amendments to Governor’s Decree No. 755 of 2024 regarding Working Days and Hours for Regional Agencies/Work Units Providing Operational Support Services and/or Direct Services to the Public.
