Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road Congestion: Contraflow Expanded from KM 47 to KM 70

Traffic management measures on the Jakarta–Cikampek toll road have been extended following a surge in vehicle volumes heading towards Cikampek.

PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) stated that the contraflow extension was implemented at the discretion of the police. The scheme now applies from KM 47 to KM 70 in the direction of Cikampek.

Previously, contraflow had been in effect only from KM 55 to KM 70 starting at 20.43 WIB. However, due to continuously increasing traffic, the measures were extended from 22.05 WIB onwards.

Congestion on the eastbound toll road has been mounting as more people begin their journeys during the Eid 2026 holiday exodus period.

JTT has urged toll users to prepare for their journeys carefully before travelling on the toll road.

Drivers are asked to ensure their vehicles are in prime condition, maintain sufficient electronic toll card balance, and refuel before departure. Additionally, road users are advised to bring provisions to avoid congestion at rest areas.

Road users are also requested to remain vigilant, observe traffic signs, and follow instructions from on-site personnel.
