The Jakarta-Ciawi toll road seems in general safer than the
Jakarta-Cikampek toll road. But when something happens on the
Jakarta-Ciawi stretch, it is far more tragic than the accidents
on the Jakarta-Cikampek highway. One needs only to recall the
Kramatjati intercity bus that went up in flames with scores of
passengers inside and the latest incident involving the armed
holdup of property businessman Zainuddin Lesmana, which resulted
in his death.

Members of the toll patrol unit and the toll authority Jasa
Marga should be wary of each suspicious vehicle. All vehicles
should be monitored to maintain general safety.
