Jakarta Car Free Day: Schedule and Locations Today

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The activities of Car Free Day (HBKB) in Jakarta are still organised by the Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov DKI Jakarta) amid the month of Ramadan. A number of main roads in the capital city are reopened for residents to engage in activities again on Sunday, 8 March 2026. CFD runs from 06.00 WIB to 10.00 WIB. During the event, the roads designated as CFD locations will be temporarily closed to motorised vehicles. The public can use these areas for a range of activities, from exercising, leisurely walking, to simply enjoying the morning atmosphere without pollution and traffic noise. In addition to the provincial level, CFD is also held in several city administrative areas with different schedules. Here are the details.
