Jakarta BPBD informs Pasar Ikan Floodgate status at Standby 2
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of DKI Jakarta informed that the status of the Pasar Ikan Floodgate in Penjaringan, North Jakarta, has risen to Standby 2 on Sunday.
Quoting from the BPBD DKI Jakarta’s X social media page (@BPBDJakarta), the water level at Pasar Ikan Floodgate at 23:00 WIB was at 192 cm with status Waspada or Standby 3.
At 00:00 WIB, the water level rose to 203 cm, with status Standby or Standby 2.
“Anticipating areas that may be affected: Kamal Muara, Kapuk Muara, Penjaringan, Pluit, Ancol, Kamal, Marunda, Cilincing, and Kalibaru,” wrote BPBD in its official X account @BPBDJakarta.
Currently Pasar Ikan Floodgate is at Standby 2 with rainy weather conditions.
DKI Jakarta BPBD has disseminated information via social media and notified district admins (camat) and sub-district heads (lurah) about the rise in Pasar Ikan Floodgate status.
In emergencies, residents are advised to contact the Jakarta Siaga call centre at number 112.
Other floodgate locations: Angke Hulu is reported to be at Standby or Standby 2. Meanwhile Sunter Hulu is reported as Waspada or Standby 3.
Other floodgate locations including Katulampa, Depok, Manggarai, Karet, Krukut Hulu, Pesanggrahan, Waduk Pluit, Cipinang Hulu, and Pulo Gadung are reported as normal or Standby 4.
