Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - A landslide in the West Bandung area has forced PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) to cancel several Jakarta-Bandung train journeys. PT KAI Daerah Operasi 1 Jakarta explained that several Jakarta-Bandung trips are delayed or cancelled due to the landslide in West Bandung. The train journeys cancelled from Gambir and Pasar Senen Stations are KA No. 134B Parahyangan on the Gambir-Bandung route, scheduled to depart from Gambir Station at 18:25 WIB; KA No. 140 Parahyangan on the Gambir-Bandung route, departing at 23:05 WIB from Gambir; and KA No. 288 Serayu on the Pasar Senen-Bandung-Purwokerto route, departing from Pasar Senen Station at 19:25 WIB. Meanwhile, the train journey to Jakarta Gambir that was cancelled is KA No. 139 Parahyangan on the Bandung-Gambir route, departing from Bandung at 19:25 WIB. The delayed or rerouted train journeys include KA No. 283 Serayu on the Purwokerto-Bandung-Pasar Senen route, which is held at Sasak Station. All passengers have been redirected to buses to Jakarta. KAI has also rerouted passengers of KA No. 129 Papandayan on the Garut-Gambir route, held at Padalarang Station, to the Whoosh high-speed train to Jakarta. Customers affected who do not wish to continue their journey or whose trips are cancelled can cancel their tickets via the Access by KAI application, ticket vending machines, or station counters that handle online ticket sales. In addition, KAI provides Service Recovery to affected customers experiencing delays, in the form of mineral water, light snacks, or heavy meals in accordance with applicable provisions.
