Jagorawi will be crowded: Police

JAKARTA (JP): Bogor Police Chief Col. Syahrudin Z.P.
reminded people planning to go to Puncak resort area to be extra
careful because their will be more traffic than on normal
weekends.

Col. Syahrudin said on Tuesday that for three days before
New Year's eve, traffic flow from the Jagorawi toll road will be
very crowded.

Syahrudin was quoted by Antara news agency as saying that
there will be 60,000 vehicles from Jakarta using the Jagorawi
toll road, far above the usual 50,000 vehicles.

Syahrudin also urged motorists to use the Cikampek toll road
instead. This will lighten the traffic on the Jagorawi highway
and may lessen the possibility of being trapped in a traffic jam.
