Jagoi Babang Border Crossing Launches Integrated Eid al-Fitr 1447 H Post
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Jagoi Babang State Border Crossing Point (PLBN), in West Kalimantan, has launched the Integrated Security and Service Post for Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah to ensure the smooth flow of mudik and cross-border activities between Indonesia and Malaysia during the Lebaran holiday period in 2026.
“The Integrated Security and Service Post for Eid al-Fitr is scheduled to operate from 19 to 22 March 2026, daily from 07:00 to 16:00 WIB. On the day of Eid al-Fitr itself, operations will commence at 10:00 WIB,” said the Head of PLBN Jagoi Babang, Misdo J. Purba, in his statement in Jakarta on Wednesday.
Misdo stated that the post involves combined personnel from Jagoi Babang Police Sector, Task Force for Border Security Yonarhanud 1/PBC Kostrad, Customs and Excise, Immigration, Jagoi Babang Health Quarantine, Animal, Fish, and Plant Quarantine Agency (BKHIT) Jagoi Babang, and Jagoi Babang Community Health Centre.
“The number of personnel involved in the post totals 9 from various inter-agency units in the PLBN Jagoi Babang area, supported by PLBN staff,” he said.
Misdo emphasised that the presence of this Integrated Post is expected to strengthen inter-agency collaboration to ensure that services at the Indonesia-Malaysia border run safely, smoothly, and comfortably during Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah.
