Jaecoo Prepares Standby Dealers and Home Service within a 50km Radius

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - As the Lebaran homecoming rush approaches, the readiness of after-sales service is a key factor for vehicle owners. Realising this, Jaecoo Indonesia is ensuring that its dealer network remains operational during the Lebaran period, although it has not set up special service points in rest areas.

Aftersales Service Operation Manager of Jaecoo Indonesia, Bayu Agus Mustofa, said that the company will rely on its official dealers, which will be on standby in several major cities during the eight-day Lebaran period.

These 14 dealers are spread across major cities, from Batam to Denpasar. This strategy was chosen as a realistic step for a brand that is still expanding its network in Indonesia.

In addition to service at the workshops, Jaecoo also provides home service for customers who do not have time to come directly to the dealer. Requests can simply be made through the nearest dealer.

“For home service, customers only need to contact our dealer. Then, they can call the service, and the service team will go to the customer. The coverage is within 50 kilometres of the dealer. If it is more than that, it can be discussed,” said Bayu.

Unlike some brands that set up emergency service points in rest areas, Jaecoo is choosing to maximise the readiness of its official network. This approach is also an effort to build consumer confidence in after-sales service.

In addition, Jaecoo is also offering a service promotion programme in the run-up to Ramadan and Lebaran, in the form of free vehicle checks and wheel alignment. This programme is aimed at ensuring that the condition of the car remains optimal before it is used for long-distance travel.

“We have free checking and also free wheel alignment. So, customers can come to the dealer, chat with the service team, and then a check and wheel alignment can be carried out to make the long journey more comfortable,” said Bayu.
