Jaecoo J5 EV Reaches 14,000 Orders, Over 4,000 Units Delivered
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Jaecoo Indonesia has recorded over 14,000 orders for the Jaecoo J5 EV model since it was introduced to the Indonesian market in November 2025. Of this total, more than 4,000 units have reportedly been delivered to consumers. This was conveyed by the Head of Marketing for Jaecoo Indonesia, Ilham Pratama, during the inauguration of Jaecoo’s latest dealership in Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta. “To date, we have received more than 14,000 orders for the J5 EV. Furthermore, we have delivered more than 4,000 units,” said Ilham in Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta, Wednesday (February 25, 2026). The high number of orders reflects the significant consumer interest in electric vehicles, especially in the SUV segment, which has recently become increasingly crowded with various electrified models from several brands. Along with the increasing demand, Jaecoo is also said to be continuously improving its distribution capacity so that the process of delivering units to consumers can run faster and more evenly. Ilham added that the company is targeting the gradual completion of the delivery of all orders received throughout 2025, in line with logistics and unit supply readiness. “As we mentioned last January, we want to deliver all orders placed in 2025,” he said.
