JAC Motors and Indomobil Present at GIICOMVEC 2026

The landscape of competition in the national automotive market for commercial vehicles is set to become even more intense. This is because the Chinese automaker JAC Motors has officially planted its business foothold in Indonesia through a strategic collaboration with the local automotive giant, Indomobil Group.

As an initial step to strengthen its presence, JAC Motors is accelerating ahead by making its debut at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Commercial Vehicle Expo (GIICOMVEC) 2026.

“We are proud to introduce the JAC Motors Indonesia brand in partnership with Indonesia’s automotive giant, Indomobil Group. This step positions JAC Motors in the Indonesian automotive market,” said Reggie in his speech at GIICOMVEC 2026.

Additionally, it provides new options for consumers in Indonesia who wish to enjoy electric commercial vehicles with more affordable operations and environmental friendliness.

“JAC Motors Indonesia officially entered the commercial vehicle market in Indonesia on 19 August 2025. Currently, we are operating in the Pantai Indah Kapuk area in Jakarta and Balikpapan. In the future, expansion will continue to other strategic regions, supported by Indomobil Group’s aftersales services across Indonesia,” he stated.

At GIICOMVEC 2026, JAC Motors is present with the theme “Better Drive, Better Life”. According to him, every journey is not merely a movement, but part of quality of life.

“By delivering a better driving experience, we are committed to creating a more comfortable and safe vehicle ecosystem for every consumer,” said Reggie.
