Jababeka Harmony Festival attracts tens of thousands of visitors in Cikarang

Jakarta — The Jababeka Harmony Festival 2026, held on 6–8 March 2026 in the Hollywood Junction area of Jababeka City, Cikarang, Bekasi Regency, attracted tens of thousands of visitors and involved various cultural communities and small-to-medium enterprise operators.

The three-day festival featured diverse cultural activities, creative economy initiatives, and social programmes participated in by residents, community groups, and industry players in the area.

Ivonne Anggraini, President Director of PT Graha Buana Cikarang, stated that the high level of community participation demonstrated that activities celebrating cultural diversity can strengthen social interaction whilst promoting local economic activity.

One of the festival’s main agenda items was a multicultural parade, which was held for the first time in approximately one decade. The cultural parade was participated in by thousands of individuals from dozens of communities, showcasing various traditions from multiple regions.

In addition to cultural activities, the festival involved approximately 100 micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) from the culinary, fashion, and handicraft sectors, offering diverse products to visitors.

Beyond cultural and creative economy activities, the festival also featured social programmes such as collection of used goods in good condition and distribution of food aid packages to local residents during Ramadhan.

“MSME participation demonstrates that events such as this can help increase business sales compared to regular trading days,” stated Aisyah.
