PT Bank JTrust Indonesia Tbk (J Trust Bank) is accelerating its business growth in Indonesia. This commitment was marked by the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of its new headquarters, the J Trust Bank City Tower, located in the Tanah Abang area, Central Jakarta.

J Trust Bank President Director Ritsuo Fukadai stated that the construction of the J Trust Bank City Tower is a very important milestone in the bank’s journey in Indonesia. This step will strengthen the foundation and presence of J Trust Bank for business growth in the country.

“This is an expression of our strong confidence in the future of the Indonesian economy, while also demonstrating J Trust Bank’s long-term commitment to continue growing, innovating, and providing more valuable services to our customers,” he said in a written statement on Sunday, 30 August 2026.

The building occupies a strategic location near the Bundaran Hotel Indonesia (HI) area in central Jakarta and will feature a 24-storey tower. The construction project has been entrusted to PT Tatamulia Nusantara Indah (TATA), which is 67 per cent owned by Japan’s Toda Corporation.

Fukadai noted that this project is the initial step in J Trust Bank’s rebranding strategy. This is not merely a change in appearance or logo, but a process to strengthen business strategy, increase brand awareness, and solidify the bank’s position as a financial partner.

“We are confident that J Trust Bank’s future growth will provide a greater contribution to the development of Jakarta and other cities in Indonesia, as well as supporting the economic activities of the local community,” he added.

J Trust Bank hopes that once the J Trust Bank City Tower is completed, it will serve as a symbol of the company’s spirit of growth and transformation, as well as a hub that will continue to drive business development and inter-company collaboration in the future.

Furthermore, the construction of this tower also serves as a symbol of investment and business collaboration between Japan and Indonesia.
