J&T Express Upcycles Courier Uniforms into Merchandise Kits

Through its extensive operational activities, J&T Express is contributing to sustainability via the J&T Express Sustainability Impact Program (J&T SIP), an initiative designed for environmental protection and social benefit.

The primary initiative within this programme involves reprocessing decommissioned courier operational uniforms into new products with added value and utility. The uniforms, previously used by couriers in their daily activities, undergo a cleaning process before being transformed into various products, including pouches, reusable bags, bag charms, and notebook covers. Throughout this process, J&T Express partners with Liberty Society, a B Corp-certified social enterprise.

For J&T Express, uniforms are more than just workwear. For years, these uniforms have been part of the daily lives of couriers interacting directly with customers across various regions. Consequently, when their lifespan ends, J&T Express sees an opportunity to provide new functions for the material rather than allowing it to become waste.
