J&T Express Reports Police Complaint Regarding Alleged Embezzlement and Theft in Sunter

Jakarta – Courier company J&T Express has filed a report with the North Jakarta Metro Police Station (Polres Metro Jakarta Utara) regarding an alleged embezzlement and theft incident that occurred in Sunter, Tanjung Priok District.

“We have reported the embezzlement and theft incident to the North Jakarta Metro Police Station,” stated J&T Express legal representatives Adriansyah Halim and Pandapotan Pinbatu in Jakarta on Monday, 2 March 2026.

He said the report was filed in response to allegations of unlawful detention that were circulated by irresponsible individuals and had sparked public concern. “The recording was taken during the internal clarification process,” Adriansyah said.

Meanwhile, Head of the Mobile Investigation Unit at North Jakarta Metro Police, Inspector Seno Aji Pradana, stated that police had received the report from J&T Express regarding the embezzlement and theft case. “We have received the embezzlement and theft report,” Seno said.

He disclosed that the investigation is ongoing, with the police seeking clarification from parties involved in the embezzlement and theft case. “The legal process is underway. We have also received clarification from the relevant parties,” Seno stated.
