J&T Cargo Prepares 8,000-Strong Fleet to Meet Ramadan Logistics Surge
Jakarta — In the run-up to the Ramadhan 2026 peak season, J&T Cargo is aiming to safeguard the smooth flow of the national logistics network by preparing a distribution strategy that is stable, responsive, and controlled.
This operational readiness is underpinned by large-scale infrastructure strengthening, including more than 100 gateways, over 8,000 vehicles in operation, and more than 4,000 outlets reaching 98 per cent of Indonesia.
‘This step is taken to ensure shipments, particularly for large cargo, continue to run optimally amid rising demand ahead of Eid al-Fitr,’ said a representative of J&T Cargo, Natalia Pangaribuan, in Jakarta on Wednesday, 4 March 2026.
She said J&T Cargo offers a range of services such as EZ Track, Fast Track, and Max Track designed to speed up the turnover of goods while safeguarding the cash flow of businesses, especially SMEs and the national industry.
‘This ecosystem of services is presented as a comprehensive supply chain solution for business partners in various regions,’ she added.
‘J&T Cargo continues to pursue ongoing improvements, including route optimisation and performance monitoring based on data to maintain customer satisfaction,’ she said.
Ahead of Eid al-Fitr, J&T Cargo is also implementing a number of additional measures, ranging from adjustments to line-haul schedules, vehicle eligibility verifications, to health checks and urine tests for drivers to ensure operational safety.
Shipment movement is monitored in real time to detect potential bottlenecks early and ensure a rapid response during the mudik period.
In addition to strengthening services, J&T Cargo has launched a campaign entitled ‘MUDIK: Muatan Besar Diantar Ke Tujuan Bareng J&T Cargo’ running from 19 February to 31 March 2026.
‘This programme rewards customers with the chance to win a range of attractive prizes by collecting points from each shipment receipt,’ she stressed.
