J-Hope BTS Wears Pertamina Enduro Vest at Busan Concert, Causing a Stir
J-Hope’s appearance on the second day of the BTS World Tour ARIRANG concert in Busan caused a sensation among Indonesian ARMY. Beyond his boundless energy, the BTS rapper and main dancer was spotted wearing a vest with a logo very familiar to Indonesian fans: Pertamina Enduro. The camouflage vest with neon yellow accents was worn by J-Hope during the performance after the first intermission, for the songs ‘Not Today’, ‘2.0’, and ‘Normal’. The words ‘Pertamina Enduro’ were clearly visible on the front of the vest, which he paired with a white T-shirt and streetwear-style accessories. Photos of J-Hope’s outfit quickly circulated on social media. Several Indonesian ARMY linked the vest to the Instagram account @haii_meddenia, believed to be the person behind the gift. The account owner commented with a crying emoji on social media, and netizens revealed the vest was indeed a gift from Indonesian ARMY delivered through a close friend of J-Hope. According to fans, the gift was given before J-Hope began his mandatory military service. The vest worn by J-Hope is a collaboration product between Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team, Refrigiwear, and PDF. Its design features a racing wear style synonymous with the MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi’s racing team. The product is sold on the official VR46 website for 380 euros, or approximately Rp7.1 million, excluding shipping and tax.
