It's visa-free to visit Turkey
JAKARTA (JP): Beginning this Thursday, Indonesian passport holders intending to visit Turkey will no longer need a visa to enter the country.
"This decision was made in the light of the friendly relations between Turkey and Indonesia, with the purpose of developing cooperation between Turkish and Indonesian peoples in every field," the Turkish embassy said in a statement yesterday.
The visa-free arrangement is good for Indonesians intending to stay in Turkey for a period of up to two months, it said. (emb)
