It's a Hit! Registrations for Jogja Financial Festival Reach Hundreds in the First Minute

Registration for the Jogja Financial Festival opened today. Registrations have already reached hundreds, even though it has only been open for a few minutes.

The Jogja Financial Festival is organised by the Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) in collaboration with Transmedia. The event will feature educational classes and business talks involving industry leaders at the Jogja Expo Center on 22-24 May 2026.

CT Corp Chairman Chairul Tanjung emphasised that the festival, which will also feature major music artists performing such as Ari Lasso and Juicy Luicy, is completely free of charge.

“Registration is free. If it’s free, not only people from Jogja but even those from Papua can come. So please pay attention to this,” said Chairul Tanjung at GIK UGM on Friday (24/4/2026).

Registration can be done at event.detik.com. Although it only opened today, registrations had reached more than 400 people by 11:00.

Chairul Tanjung also invited the entire community to register immediately so as not to miss the event that can enhance knowledge about finance. This is because the participant quota is limited to only 10,000.

“You can see for yourself, because it’s free, it fills up very quickly. So it might be full in less than a week,” he said.

As part of the Jogja Financial Festival, there is also the Jogja Run D-City running event. Purchasing a ticket for Jogja Run D-City 2026 means gaining access to the Jogja Financial Festival.

“The aim is partly to provide information, first and foremost to educate the public on understanding financial issues,” he stated.
