CUSTOMERS DONATION: Telkomsel's President Director Bajoe Narbito
(left) presents a donation worth Rp 654,392,000 to Prof. Dr.
Suyudi representing the Indonesian Red Cross to help the recovery
of the Tsunami-hit areas in Aceh and Northern Sumatra through the
Indonesian Red Cross. The funds, handed over on Feb.3, were
collected from Telkomsel customers who gave their money via SMS
using number 2000 for the donation of Rp 2000 and number 5000 for
Rp 5000. The charity program, launched in Dec. 28, will remain
open until the end of February 2005. Telkomsel commits to donate
all of the funds generated from the charity program to the
Indonesian Red Cross.
